Andrea Blaga

Andrea Blaga, is a freelancer photographer and Director of Photography based in Bucharest, Romania.

Two of her recent film projects are:

  • a short film "The last Gheorghe" - about a deserted village where Gheorghe is the last man standing;
  • a travel documentary about a man sailing home through many seas and dangers: "Sailboat Francine".

Between 2003 - 2005 she worked as a Photographer/ Videographer with Ocean Images Ltd. UK and Image Photo Services Miami /USA.

She also had a stage in Advertising, as an Art Buyer for D’Arcy - Advertising Agency.

Most of her working experience before that was in National Television, as a camera operator and Director of Photography.

Currently she is involved in an MA programme in Advertising, Communication and Film Aesthetics, at the National University of Drama and Cinematography "I.L. Caragiale"
In 2001 she graduated from National University of Drama and Cinematography "I.L. Caragiale", Bucharest, with a degree in Film and TV Image.
